It is not difficult to remove the screen protector when you are finished using it. We do not recommend removing it to make adjustments once it is in place, since you will not be able to re-apply it to the screen of the device once it is removed.

The iPad 2 case does not feature a built-in screen protector. Screen protection consists of a clip-on touch screen shield. If you order it through Otterbox.com you will also receive a free self-adhesive screen protector.

The case is made of an inner layer that is a clear polycarbonate shell and the outer layer is made of black silicone.

How do I remove the Defender from my IPad2 once in place?
Replacing the clear plastic cover already and trying to take the defender apart; There is a video for the Original IPad but not the IPad2. Thanks

Why is there a trap door on the case if it is un dockable? There's the flap for the USB cord,but if you pull the flap up the trap door comes up, What is it's purpose?

The iPad 2 Defender is compatible with the iPad 1 dock. The iPad 2 dock was not available until after the iPad 2 launch, thus we were not able to make design considerations for it.

I love this case but I cannot keep the flap for the head phone jack closed.
I love this case but I cannot keep the flap for the head phone jack closed. It opens up 100 times a day. Is my case defective or is this a common problem. It drives me crazy. Is there a fix for this problem?
