Rinse the case with water. let air dry and clean lens with lens wipes. If there is something like oil on the outer parts of the case. keep the case closed and wash with soapy dish water, rise with clean water, let air dry and clean with lens wipes. You may want to put something like a non petroleum rubber seal grease on the seals (krytox).

It's waterproof, there's nothing wrong with cleaning it off with water and soap. I usually bring mine to the shower to listen to music after working out, and it holds up just fine and comes out clean every time.
honestly I throw mine in the sink with hot water and dish detergent.. works great. if the case is open make sure it dries entirely before putting the phone back or just was it closed. either way I recommend removing the phone simply due to the fact prolonged soaking does risk leaks.
Yes the iPhone 5S will fit but you will loose the touch ID on the home button, and the window on the back of the case for the LED flash is only large enough to show the single LED on the iPhone 5, You would likely be loosing the extra light from the second LED on the iPhone 5S.
Yes, I have dropped it in the snow with no issues from the snow.. THe cold can slow up your phone and I find I have to shut it down and restart it if it gets to cold ( -27 ish) Perfect Protection if dropped in the mud as well
I have put my phone in the snow on on multiple occasions and the case has always kept my phone intact. Usually when I come in from the snowy outdoors I wipe the case down with a dry towel to wipe the water off. I believe this case is snow proof based on my experiences...
yes i haved droped mine many times in snow getting out of plow truck in deep snow still working great

Yes it does. While I would NEVER recommend putting your phone in the snow and leaving it there for hours or anything this case IS water resistant to a very good degree and snow as well as rain and other liquid elements will not hurt your phone as long as your case is in good condition and installed correctly! I work with chemicals and this case protect my phone from the liquids on my hands all the time. I have also used my phone in the RAIN and snow with no problems! Again, I do not recommend it, but yes it does!
Yes ! Cleaning my car covered with snow every morning The snow tends to get into my coat pocket, and I mean alot of snow in my pockets where my iphone5 is also in my coat ,however it has the otterboxArmour case on the iphone5 . Anyway , Several times I never new my pockets were full of snow together with my iphone 5 in my coat pockets, Well realizing a good time later I of coarse removed the snow from my coat pocket with my phone being soaking wet as the snow begins to melt . Isimply dry it off wiith any soft cloth or tissue thats handy. When I arrived home several hours later I removed the iphone from the otterbox Armour to check for damage And not a drop of melted snow penetrated the otterbox Armour case, even though it was several hours later, I would of seen some evidence that snow or dirt penetrated the case , but the iphone was as dry as can be! Buy this case , It always stays clean and is the best investment to keep you phone safe, prestine looking.
I was going to use the case (Armor) with my work cell (5c) but through research found that the Armor and Defender will not work with the 5c or 5s. There is a small difference is the phones size that prevents them from being used properly.
The case does come with a lanyard which should have been included in the original package with the case. If not I would recommend you taking it back to where you made the purchase and inform them of the missing lanyard. If not contact the company directly and I'm sure they would be happy to send you a replacement lanyard.
Yes the small hole in the back of the case is for a lanyard if you have the iPhone 5 is for a lanyard and it should be in the bottom of your box that the case came in. I don't know about other phones though such as the Galaxy S3
Yes, but it is sold separately. The holster is as bulky as the Armor case is. It feels cheap but that is because of the large size and ballistic plastic. The holster closure flap is rubber and plastic and does not secure very well. Two small magnets hold the holster closure flap down but are not very tight and are easily pulled away. All in all, the entire set up is good for those times when you are in the great outdoors, out door sports, and all other manner of splash, crush and crash, drop and kick.
